Aaron Sagers is a TV personality, journalist, author, globetrotter and Paranormal Pop Culture expert. For more than a decade, he has professionally covered the topic of paranormal entertainment. You may have seen him talking ghosts, zombies, aliens, cryptids, and more on: 

 

The Today Show; as Host/Executive Producer/Co-Creator of Travel Channel’s Paranormal Paparazzi — based on his popular news site, ParanormalPopCulture.com — and Travel Channel’s Paranormal Challenge; as host of TLC’s Paranormal Lockdown: Evidence Revealed; on TruTV’s Super Into (with Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul); Reelz’ Behind The Screams. He has explored vampires for the "Travels With Dracula" travel show in Transylvania (with Bram Stoker's direct descendant) -- which led to him returning to Romania for his "Vlad vs. Vlad" segments with Luke Evans to support Universal Home Entertainment's "Dracula Untold." Sagers was turned into a "The Walking Dead" Walker by effects guru Greg Nicotero. He was host of Syfy’s Being Humanafter show, and served as Editor At Large and host for Syfy, where he’s creator/host of “The Science of Fear,” segment host on The Winchester Mystery House Tour, and has hosted the Child’s Play/Cult Of Chucky cast.

 

As a pop culture journalist, Sagers was profiled in The Hollywood Reporter, and has appeared on global media outlets such as Japan’s Fuji TV, Germany’s Bild, Australia’s NewsCorp, UK’s BBC and SKY, Europe’s RTL — and Huffington Post Live, Fusion, ABC, NPR, and Coast to Coast in the United States. 

 

Along with a decade of experience as a journalist and syndicated columnist for MSNBC, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, Philadelphia Inquirer, Miami Herald, and more, Sagers is author of "Paranormal Pop Culture: Rambling and Shambling Through the Entertainment of the Unexplained" and contributing author to academic journals on the topic of paranormal, and to The Psychology of Doctor Who.

 

As a live event host, and speaker, he has worked with figures such as Norman Reedus, Chris Hemsworth, Bruce Campbell, Stan Lee, George A. Romero, Jeremy Renner, David Tennant, the cast of Back to the Future and Stranger Things, and more. 

 

Within the paranormal, he has worked with the teams from Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Paranormal State, and more, and hosted on the main stage at varied events such as San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic Con, Dragon Con, South by Southwest, Roswell UFO Festival, and the International UFO Congress.
